NEW ORLEANS, La. | Hugo Thyr and Jack Hearn earned all-conference honors announced by the Sun Belt Conference on Tuesday afternoon.
"An all-conference selection is a great honor because it is a representation of the player's overall body of work for the season and voted on by the head coaches in the league," South Alabama head coach Ben Hannan said. "There is an appreciation of respect that goes with the honor. Both guys are very deserving, and I am happy for both of them."
Thyr, the individual champion from the 2023 tournament, was named Freshman of the Year and earned Third Team All-Conference honors.
