2018 D1Baseball Preseason All-Americans
MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama outfielder Travis Swaggerty was named D1Baseball preseason first-team All-America, as announced by the organization Tuesday.
Swaggerty is the lone Sun Belt Conference representative among the 54 student-athletes recognized across D1Baseball's three preseason All-America teams. He also earned first-team preseason All-America honors from Perfect Game last month, along with a third-team preseason All-America selection by Collegiate Baseball.
The Mandeville, La., native earned second-team All-America honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings last season, as well as first-team all-region and first-team all-SBC accolades, after leading the conference in on-base percentage (.
