By the time Los Angeles quarterback Philip Rivers threw his first incompletion of Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, the Chargers had an 18-point lead.
Rivers completed his first seven passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns to start the Chargers on their way to a 31-20 victory.
After his initial incompletion, which came in the second quarter, Rivers completed his remaining seven passes in the first half, gaining another 73 yards and including another touchdown toss.
The former Athens High School standout finished the game 23-of-27 for 256 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions for a sterling passer rating of 143.
