SOUTH WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FINISHES NON-CONFERENCE SLATE

Athens, Ga. – With three players in double figures, the University of Georgia women's basketball team grabbed an 89-50 victory South Alabama on Tuesday at Stegeman Coliseum.

Leading the Lady Bulldogs (11-1) was Jenna Staiti with 17 points followed by Malury Bates and Jillian Hollingshead with 12 each.

Mahogany Vaught led the Jags (6-7) with 11 points, while Dee Haymer had 10 points and a team-high four rebounds. The duo also handed out two assists each to pace the South Alabama in the category.

GAME FACTS
- Vaught's trey at the beginning of the first period gave the Jags a brief one-point advantage before Georgia put up 13 unanswered points over the following four minutes.
