MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama got their seventh win of the season Sunday afternoon with a 5-2 over Florida Gulf Coast at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
South struck first with a quick 6-1 win at number, with the duo of Louis Delcour and Juan Accossatto beating Carter Bradford and Guglielmo Stefanacci. The Jags clinched the doubles point with a win from Sebastien Collard and Martin Bugaj at number two, beating Marcelo Sepulveda and Eric Oncins of Florida Gulf Coast.
Up 1-0, attention turned to singles where South carried over the momentum from doubles and claimed the first set on four of six courts.
