South Alabama's Travis Swaggerty, Dylan Hardy earn All-Sun Belt honors

South Alabama center fielder Travis Swaggerty and left fielder Dylan Hardy were named first-team All-Sun Belt on Monday by league coaches.

It's the second straight such honor for Swaggerty, who was a Freshman All-American in 2016. This season, the Denham Springs, La., native is batting .295/.450/.540 with 10 doubles, 13 homers, 52 runs scored and 38 RBIs.

Hardy, a junior from D'Iberville, Miss., was a second-team All-Sun Belt pick in 2017. This season, he is batting .335/.406/.455 with 54 runs, 11 doubles, two triples, four homers, 27 RBIs and 17 steals.

South Alabama also had three players picked to the All-Sun Belt second team: catcher Carter Perkins, starting pitcher Tyler Carr and third baseman Brendan Donovan.
