Steve Campbell enters his first season at South Alabama fully aware of how much the Jaguars have accomplished in the nine seasons since the program was founded.
In nine years under former coach Joey Jones, USA played in two bowl games, and recorded victories over the likes of Mississippi State and nationally ranked San Diego State. Just last year, the Jaguars beat Troy and Arkansas State, two of the top three teams in final the Sun Belt Conference standings.
However, Campbell is also aware of how much is left to accomplish once fall camp begins on Aug.
