South Alabama's new covered practice facility is taking shape, with much of the metal framing being put in place this week.
Jaguars athletics director Joel Erdmann told AL.com on Tuesday that the hope is for the team to be able to use the facility at some point late this season. However, of more importance is for the Jaguar Training Facility to be completed by the time recruiting season hits its homestretch.
"Considering the recent rain and weather, we're still on track and within our time frame," Erdmann said. "We hope for some degree of use in November.
