South Alabama was back on the practice field in full pads Monday following a day off after the first scrimmage of fall camp on Saturday.
Head coach Joey Jones said that after watching film of the scrimmage, he believed defense won the day. The Jaguars forced four turnovers and had six sacks and 13 tackles for loss.
"Our defensive line is really deep, kind of whipping the offense a little bit," Jones said. "That's a good thing for our defense, but we've got to get better on the offensive line. Even though we've got a good defense, there's no excuses, we've got to get better.
