South Alabama's Jeremy Reaves targets spot with Philadelphia Eagles

Players involved in the "eighth round" of the NFL Draft sometimes have a perk that the players picked in the first seven rounds don't get. The eighth-rounders have some choice in where they start their pro careers.

Of course, the NFL Draft doesn't have an eighth round. But that's what NFL general managers sometimes call the scramble to sign undrafted rookies when the seven-round draft ends.

For the eighth-round players with more than one NFL suitor, they do the picking after the teams picked the players in the seven-round draft.

Former South Alabama standout Jeremy Reaves picked the Philadelphia Eagles after going undrafted.
