South Alabama's Brendan Donovan was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 7th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Tuesday.
Donovan, who played third base, shortstop and right field in his career with the Jaguars, was drafted as an outfielder. The Enterprise native went with the No. 213 overall pick in the draft.
