There's nothing like a winning streak to give a football team a nice morale boost.
Confidence is at perhaps a season-high for South Alabama heading into Thursday night's Sun Belt Conference game at Georgia State. And the Jaguars (3-4, 2-1 Sun Belt) have a pair of double-digit wins over Troy and Louisiana-Monroe in their last two outings to thank for that.
"It's funny how human nature is," head coach Joey Jones said. "You lose to a Oklahoma State and to an Ole Miss to put you 0-2 and everybody has their heads down, but I knew we had a good team and that we had a shot to continue to be a good team.
