ATLANTA – The University of South Alabama softball team dropped a 4-3 decision Sunday afternoon giving Georgia State a Sun Belt Conference series sweep over the Jaguars at Bob Heck Field.
"It's a disappointing start to conference play for us; no excuses. I didn't think we did what we needed too in order to get the job done," South Alabama head coach Becky Clark said. "For me as a coach and us as a team, we're a lot better than how we played this weekend, but we need to look at ourselves and see what we need to do to move forward.
