South Alabama quarterback Dallas Davis did not practice Tuesday due to a bruised right (throwing) shoulder and a head injury, Jaguars head coach Joey Jones said.
Davis suffered the injuries during the Jaguars' 29-23 double-overtime loss to Idaho last Saturday, missing one play in the second quarter after taking a hard hit. He had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder in the offseason.
Davis' status for Saturday's game at Louisiana Tech is to-be-determined, Jones said. USA is 1-3 this season, while Louisiana Tech is 2-2.
"He had a little contusion in the back of his shoulder blade," Jones said.
