South Alabama quarterback Cole Garvin remains questionable to play in Saturday's Sun Belt Conference opener vs. Idaho, Jaguars coach Joey Jones said Sunday.
Garvin suffered a sprained ankle in the first quarter of USA's Sept. 9 loss to Oklahoma State, and has not played since. Dallas Davis played the remainder of that game and also took the majority of snaps in last week's 45-0 victory over Alabama A&M.
"Right now, we don't know whether Cole's going to be able to go or not," Jones said following Sunday night's practice. "We'll see Tuesday. If he can't go, we'll go with Dallas.
