South Alabama's 2017 home football game with Big 12 power Oklahoma State could be moved to Friday night for television, Jaguars athletics director Joel Erdmann has confirmed to AL.com.
The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, but could move up a day to Friday, Sept. 8, as has been rumored. Erdmann said he's not yet heard official word from conference officials or television schedule-makers on when exactly the game will be played.
"It's looking like a strong possibility it will be on Friday, but nothing is official yet," Erdmann said Monday at USA's NCAA baseball selection show watch party.
