MOBILE, Ala. | The South Alabama Jaguars begin their 2022-23 season with a matchup against the University of Mobile Rams Wednesday evening at the Mitchell Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
The Jaguars have won 30 consecutive home openers, and are 8-0 all-time against the Rams. Mobile head coach Darnell Archey served as an assistant coach for South Alabama from 2013-2018. Richie Riley enters his fifth season as the head coach of the Jaguars. He has a 75-51 record and is undefeated against Mobile in four attempts.
