Ben Hannan has resigned after 13 years as South Alabama's golf coach to take a role with the school's administration.
Hannan has accepted the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Athletics Development, the school announced Friday. A former South Alabama golfer, Hannan coached the Jaguars to four NCAA regional berths and two Sun Belt titles in his tenure as head coach.
"South Alabama has been a big part of my life. This is home for me and my family," Hannan said. "I had 13 great years as the men's golf coach and have lasting relationships with many of my original teammates, former players and a ton of wonderful memories.
