Oklahoma State will be the highest ranked visiting team in the history of the South Alabama football program, but the Jaguars are spending this week doing some self-reflection.
Rather than focusing on how to slow down the high-powered Cowboys, ranked No. 10 in the Amway Coaches Poll and No. 11 by the Associated Press, the Jaguars (0-1) are looking to shore up some deficiencies from their 47-27 opening-week loss to Ole Miss. Specifically, USA is looking to improve in four phases: third-down efficiency, red zone execution, eliminating dropped passes and tackling.
