South Alabama finished off the home portion of its 2018 schedule with perhaps its best weekend of baseball all season.
The Jaguars beat UT Arlington 7-2 on Sunday at Stanky Field, completing a three-game sweep. South Alabama (29-20, 17-9 Sun Belt Conference) outscored the Mavericks 29-6 in the three games, and did not trail after the third inning in Friday's series-opener.
"It was a great way to send off our seniors - a great group of guys we have had who have invested so much and meant so much to this program," South Alabama coach Mark Calvi said.
