Idaho (7-4, 5-2) got 142 yards and three touchdowns rushing from Isaiah Saunders in clinching its first winning season since 2009. Vandals quarterback Matt Linehan added 231 yards and two scores through the air.
South Alabama has lost 11 starters during the season to injury, but got a big one back today in starting quarterback Dallas Davis.
