It seems there's one position every year for South Alabama that becomes a potential trouble spot due to injury or attrition.
Two years ago, it was the offensive line that was the Jaguars' Achilles heel. Last season, both the offensive and defensive lines suffered numerous injuries during the course of the year.
This year, that position appears to be cornerback. None of the Jaguars' three most-experienced returning cornerbacks has been working at the position in the early part of fall camp, at least not at full speed.
"It's a just a situation where it's 'next guy in,'" USA cornerbacks coach Kelvin Sigler said.
