Kory Holden has officially joined the South Alabama basketball team as a graduate transfer, the school announced Friday.
Holden, who will be eligible to play for the Jaguars in 2018-19, spent last season at South Carolina. Limited to 14 games by injury, the 6-foot-1 point guard averaged 3.4 points and 1.5 assists per game for the Gamecocks.
Holden played his first two years of college basketball for at Delaware, where he was second-team All-Colonial Athletic Association as a sophomore in 2015-16. He averaged 15.1 points and 4.6 assists in 57 games with the Blue Hens.
