Tyreke Locure, a point guard in the 2019-20 class, has verbally committed to South Alabama, AL.com has confirmed.
The 5-foot-10 Locure averaged 28.1 points and 3.9 steals per game as a junior at Des Moines (Iowa) North High School last season, earning all-state status. He announced his decision to commit to South Alabama via Twitter:

Locure, who is originally from the New Orleans area, is South Alabama's first verbal commitment for the 2019-20 class.
