After going 0-5 last week, South Alabama fell entirely out of the major college baseball rankings.

USA is not ranked by Collegiate Baseball (after being ranked No. 11 last week), D1Baseball.com (No. 15 last week) or Baseball America (No. 21). The National College Baseball Writers Association rankings will be released later Monday.

The Jaguars lost a Tuesday night game to No. 18 Auburn then were swept in four games at No. 3 Texas Tech. USA (7-6) had not lost five straight games since the 2014 season, when it finished 22-33.

South Alabama is 29th in the Warren Nolan's synthesized RPI rankings (the official NCAA rankings will be released later in the year).
