MOBILE, Ala. — South Alabama hosted a last-chance qualifying meet Sunday at Jaguar Track, where several athletes delivered strong performances ahead of the NCAA East First Rounds later this month.
Javon Glenn matched his time from the Sun Belt Conference Championships in the 200 meters, placing third with a time of 21.27 seconds.
Will Frederick set a personal best in the men's pole vault, clearing 5.31 meters (17 feet, 4½ inches) to take second place. The mark moves him to No. 21 in the NCAA East Region rankings.
