SOCCER FALLS IN DOUBLE-OVERTIME TO GEORGIA STATE

MOBILE, Ala. – With 3:34 on the clock in the game's final period, the Panthers' Jimena Cabrero dribble down the attacking-right side of the field and looped a long shot that went over the Jaguar defense and bounced in off the far post causing the University of South Alabama soccer team to fall to Georgia State, 1-0 in double-overtime at the Cage Sunday afternoon.

With the exception of shots, the game was tight as the possession was almost equal between teams. The Jaguars had an advantage on shots (13-5) and shots-on-goal (6-3) but committed more fouls (14-12).
