MOBILE, Ala. – Three Southeastern Louisiana pitchers combined to shut out the University of South Alabama baseball team 1-0 Tuesday at Stanky Field.
SLU right-handers Justin Simanek, Bryce Tassin and Jared Biddy combined to allow three hits with 11 strikeouts and one walk in nine innings to lead the Lions to the win.
USA (12-11) will return to action this weekend when it travels to Arlington, Texas, for a three-game Sun Belt Conference series with UT Arlington, with game one set for Fri., March 29, at 6:30 p.m.
