MOBILE – South Alabama athletics announced Cori Scherbring as the new Assistant Athletic Director of Fan Engagement on Wednesday.
"Sometimes you conduct a thorough national search and you find that the right person for the job was right across the hall the whole time – and that is exactly what happened here," South Alabama Deputy Athletic Director Daniel McCarthy said. "Cori Scherbring is a rising star in this industry. We're excited about the future of our fan engagement efforts under Cori's leadership and look forward to the continued positive impact she will have on the University of South Alabama in this new role.
