NEW ORLEANS – After stellar offensive seasons, South Alabama outfielders Brittani Reid and Victoria Ortiz were named to the first-team all-Sun Belt Conference softball teams, as announced by the league office Tuesday morning.
The postseason accolades are the first for by Reid and Ortiz and mark the seventh straight season that South has had at least two first-team selections. The two all-league honors are the 49th and 50th selections in program history and the 21st and 22nd to be named to the Sun Belt's first team.
