Quarter-by-quarter look at South Alabama's loss to Memphis

Memphis outscored South Alabama by 17 points in the second half on the way to a 52-35 victory at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.

The Tigers (3-1) and the Jaguars (1-3) were tied 21-21 at halftime, but USA could not keep up in the second half. Darrell Henderson, the nation's leading rusher, piled up 188 yards and two touchdowns for Memphis.

Evan Orth passed for a career-high 360 yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort for South Alabama. Jamarius Way turned in a second straight outstanding game with 10 receptions for 185 yards and a touchdown, plus a two-point conversion.
