For the second time this year, South Alabama knocked off one of the Sun Belt Conference's top teams on Saturday.
The Jaguars beat Arkansas State 24-19 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, forcing six turnovers in the process. South Alabama (4-6, 3-3 Sun Belt) stays alive for bowl-eligiblity with two games to play.
South Alabama has now dealt Arkansas State (5-3, 4-1) and Troy their lone Sun Belt losses of the season. The Jaguars beat the Trojans 19-8 on Oct. 11.
