MOBILE, Ala. | Three different Jags earned distinction following the 2022 season by being named All-American at their respective positions by College Football News (CFN), Pro Football Focus (PFF), and Phil Steele.
Yam Banks, a first team All-Sun Belt selection, was chosen to three different All-American teams including honorable mention honors by Phil Steele. He was also chosen second team by PFF and third team by CFN at defensive back. Banks finished the season with a team-high six interceptions including one against Western Kentucky at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl to conclude the season.
