STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — South Alabama women's golfer MacKenzie Peyton closed the final round of the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate with a top-25 finish on Tuesday at the Eagle's Landing Country Club.

South Alabama (317-315-316—948) finished 13th in the 15-team field with a 948 tournament total, placing ahead of Sun Belt Conference member Louisiana-Monroe by four strokes. Murray State and Eastern Kentucky tied with a three-round score of 888, but the Racers won a one-hole playoff over the Colonels to claim the team champion title.

Elsa Moberly of Eastern Kentucky held first place through three rounds as she broke par for the first time on Tuesday recording a 1-over par 73.
