VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. | Daniela Palmeros finished four-under for the tournament to win by three strokes and pick up her first medalist honors Saturday afternoon at the Fifth Annual Evie Odom Invitational held at the Princess Anne Country Club. Palmeros becomes the second Jaguar to record a tournament victory this fall (Anna Behnsen – Inverness Intercollegiate).
The three-round, 206 by Palmeros marked not only a new career low for the freshman, but is the second-lowest, 54-hole score in program history, just two strokes behind Julie Hovland's program mark where she fired a three-round 204 at the USA Intercollegiate (9/5-7/20).
