MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama baseball team swept a Saturday doubleheader from Appalachian State at Stanky Field to secure a three-game Sun Belt Conference series sweep.
USA (16-11, 6-2 SBC) secured the sweep with a pair of shutout wins Saturday, with a 2-0 win in game two of the series and a 5-0 victory in the finale.
South Alabama will return to action Fri., April 6, at 4 p.m. (CT) when it travels to Conway, S.C., to open a three-game SBC series with Coastal Carolina.
