NO. 18 AUBURN DEFEATS NO. 11 JAG BASEBALL IN FRONT OF RECORD CROWD

MOBILE, Ala. – No. 18 Auburn scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning en route to a 7-6 win over No. 11 University of South Alabama baseball Tuesday at Stanky Field.

Auburn (9-0) faced a one-run deficit after seven frames, but rallied for four runs in the top-half of the eighth for the eventual game-winning runs.

South Alabama (7-2) will return to action this weekend when it travels to Lubbock, Texas, for a four-game series with No. 3 Texas Tech, beginning with game one Friday at 6:30 p.m.
