NEW ORLEANS – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team collected four postseason awards, as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon. The team was highlighted by Coach of the Year Nick Brochu and Newcomer of the Year Julien Evrard.
After leading the Jaguars to their third consecutive Sun Belt Championship, Brochu has now been named the 2021 SBC Coach of the Year. Brochu made his way into the USA history books as he is the third men's tennis coach to be named Coach of the Year since 2002. Brochu holds a career-coaching record at South Alabama that stands at 174-112.
