Amy Chapman Kleinschrodt will become the first Mobile Sports Hall of Fame inductee from the sport of sailing, and she's joined by football players Don Hultz and Leon Lett, baseball players Jake Peavy and Juan Pierre and basketball coach Jack Robertson in the MSHOF's Class of 2018, which was announced on Thursday afternoon.
The Mobile Sports Hall of Fame also is adding two broadcasters familiar to Port City fans for the past four decades -- Randy Patrick and Lee Shirvanian.
Hultz went from Mobile County High School in Grand Bay to Southern Miss, where he helped the Southerners finish as the UPI's national small-college champions for the 1962 season.
