MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team will compete in three matches this week, hosting Jacksonville State at 10:00 a.m. and Jackson State at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in a doubleheader at the Mobile Tennis Courts and facing North Florida on the road on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
The Jaguars look to continue their six-game winning streak. Last week at home South Alabama defeated Auburn 5-2 and Sun Belt Conference foe Georgia State 6-1. The win against the Tigers was the first victory over a power-five opponent since defeating Nebraska 4-2 on March 1, 2008 and against an SEC opponent since topping Mississippi State 5-2 on Feb.
