MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team defeated Charlotte 6-1 in its spring home-opener on Sunday at Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
"I think we played well today, and it was get back and play on our home courts after playing in the Florida State Invitational two weeks ago," said South Alabama head coach Nick Brochu. "We practice hard for two weeks, and overall it was a good performance by the team today. Charlotte had a good win at Samford on Friday. Our goal was to start really hitting hard, take the lead and keep the momentum.
