CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The University of South Alabama No. 28 men's tennis team (14-2) advanced to the championship match of the HEB Invitational on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. with a 4-0 win over UTRGV on Friday afternoon in the quarterfinals and 4-1 victory over Sun Belt Conference foe Louisiana-Lafayette at night in the semifinals at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Courts. The Jaguars will face Arizona in the finals.
With the two wins South Alabama has now won 13 matches in a row, tying for the program's second longest winning streak. The 1993 squad won 13 consecutive matches from March 6th-April 2nd, and the Jags did so from March 14th of the 1991 season to Feb.
