NEW ORLEANS – On the strength of a two-goal, six-point week, University of South Alabama freshman Brenna McPartlan was voted the Sun Belt Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday.
The Lancashire, England native earns the award for the first time in her career and is the first Jaguar this season to pick up the weekly award.
McPartlan set a new career high with four points in USA's 4-0 win at ULM, scoring a goal and assisting on two others. The goal – her first in the run of play all season – came in the 26th minute to give the Jags a 2-0 lead.
