MOBILE, Ala. | Olivia Lackie tossed her 10th complete-game shutout of the season and made a first-inning run hold up as South Alabama picked up a 1-0 victory over App State to complete the Sun Belt Conference series sweep at Jaguar Field Sunday afternoon.
Lackie (16-6) now stands alone in shutouts this season after scattering five hits, two walks and striking out nine in the victory.
South Alabama (29-13, 11-4 SBC) was led at the plate by Sasha Willems, who was 2-for-2 and drove in the lone run of the contest.
