KARLSSON’S CAREER-LOW ROUND LEADS JAG GOLF AT SUN BELT TOURNAMENT

SANDESTIN, Fla. – Rasmus Karlsson fired a career-best 6-under-par 65 on Monday, leading a trio of University of South Alabama men's golfers who shot at or below par in the second of three rounds at the Sun Belt Conference Championship.

With a 7-under-par 135 total over 36 holes, the junior is tied for second in the individual standings entering the last day of the event. Jordan Plunkett also is among the top 20 individually following a second-round 68, while Yannick Schütz chipped in with a 71 to help the Jaguars record a 7-under-par 277 in the round.

With the performance, the Jags now sit tied for sixth in the team standings with ULM at 567, five shots out of fourth place and the final berth in Wednesday's match play semifinals.
