NEW ORLEANS – A pair of juniors from the University of South Alabama men's golf program were honored on Thursday with the announcement of the 2019 all-Sun Belt Conference teams by the league office.
Both Rasmus Karlsson and Yannick Schütz received third-team honors, marking the second time each has picked up all-league accolades in their time with the program. The former was chosen second-team all-Sun Belt following his freshman campaign, while the latter was a first-team selection a year ago.
Karlsson ranked second on the team with a 72.88 stroke average and three top-20 finishes during the 2018-19 campaign, posting a score of par or better on nine occasions.
