LOXLEY, Ala. - South Alabama men's golf shared a fourth place finish hosting the Steelwood Collegiate, after a heavy rain-filled morning halted play on Sunday morning. Due to cancelling play in the midst of the third round, final tournament scores reverted to where they stand after 36-holes.
Round three began after completion of the second round on Saturday night, in an effort to beat forecasted inclement weather Sunday morning. Play resumed at 8 a.m. roughly six holes into the final round, but the rain soaked Steelwood Country Club simultaneously and had no signs of slowing down, resulting in cancellation of play.
