Jaguars Rally Late for 65-62 Win at New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS – The University of South Alabama women's basketball team (2-2) got its first road win of the 2016-17 season against New Orleans (1-3) 65-62 on Saturday evening at Lakefront Arena. Entering the fourth quarter trailing by six points, the Jaguars outscored the Privateers 22-13 in the quarter.

The Jags started the fourth quarter on a 10-3 run to get their first lead since the middle of the second quarter. Layups by Chyna Ellis and Erin Autio and a pair of free throws by Colby Davis gave South Alabama six points on its first three possessions.
