DECATUR, Ala. – For the second straight year, University of South Alabama rising senior Brooks Rabren recorded a come-from-behind effort to claim the 51st annual Daikin Sprit of America Classic on Sunday.

Trailing by three strokes entering the final round, the Andalusia, Ala., resident carded a 3-under-par 68 at the Burningtree Country Club to win by a two-stroke margin. It was Rabren's fourth score in the 60s in the tournament as he concluded the action with a 12-under-par 272 total to become the first individual to earn back-to-back victories at the event since 1988 and '89.

Rabren carded at least five birdies in each of the four rounds of the tournament, highlighted by seven on the final day of play; that included recording three on his final four holes to close out the competition.
