MOBILE, Ala. - Jaguar C/OF Mike Young has been nothing short of outstanding for the Boone Bigfoots this summer in the Coastal Plain League (CPL). The rising senior owns 19 multi-hit games in 45 games played for the Bigfoots. Young led the league in hits (66), and ranked second in batting average (.384), representing the Jaguars as a top hitter in the CPL.
He tallied 11 doubles, two triples, and four homers for 35 RBIs in 172 at-bats, while drawing 32 walks. Delivered a standout five-hit day against Macon, including two doubles and drove in a season-high five runs (7/31).
